MedCannabis Cure UK is committed to safeguarding all patients, with particular attention to preventing access by minors and protecting vulnerable individuals throughout our consultation and prescribing process.

1. Our Commitment

Safeguarding is a core part of our clinical governance framework. All clinicians and staff involved in our service are expected to act in line with this policy and to raise any safeguarding concerns promptly.

2. Age Verification

All patients must confirm they are 18 years of age or older as part of our Eligibility & Consultation Request form. Date of birth is verified against identification during the consultation process, and again by the dispensing pharmacy prior to delivery.

4. Safeguarding Vulnerable Patients

Our specialist doctors are trained to identify signs that a patient may be vulnerable, including indicators of coercion, exploitation, or diminished capacity to consent to treatment. Where a clinician has concerns about a patient’s ability to give informed consent, the consultation will not proceed until those concerns are resolved.

5. Monitoring for Dependency or Misuse

Prescribing clinicians monitor for signs of dependency, misuse, or diversion of prescribed medication at every follow-up consultation. Concerns identified during monitoring may result in a change to your treatment plan, referral to appropriate support services, or, where necessary, discontinuation of prescribing.
